[...] Anyway, like I mentioned in the comments of the last post. We’re looking into restoring these at about $2,000 a pop. Any takers? [...]

Marshall, we're looking into restoring them, actually.

I think they were pretty successful at the party, if not a little terrifying. Something like that costs about $2 - 3000 to restore each.

They did scare Nannie Thompson. Eduardo and I put them in the storytelling room. We forgot to tell the staff. I think we need to put them back in the attic then they can continue to guard the attic against squirrels and roof rats. They are such kindly creatures.

However, there was the time the policeman investigating a possible burglary almost capped them. They could be better at crime prevention than the cowardly scarecrow or is it the lion?

Thanks for that photo, Lain. You're a doll.
Oh hey, and I did actually take photos too! They are kind of repeats of yours (i.e. taken during the calm before the onslaught), but I don't look as Brer Terrapin-like in any of them (yea!), but I don't have any incriminating photos of you (boooo). I'll send them your way.
Had lots of fun on Sunday... oh except when that man didn't take that piece of cake I offered him.
Another wildly successful Wren's Nest happening. Good going, Mama Shakes and the Wren's Nest team!

Yeah for sure Jodi. Those guys are really, really scary.

I hurt my back moving them down from the attic, so they're currently chilling in the storytelling room. They are no less scary when you're turning the lights on in the morning and have forgotten about them.

Congrats on a great turnout! Thanks be to Rosie for all her hard planning. Sorry I had to miss the event this year. I'm thinking we need to pull that diorama out at Halloween next year. Oooo sccaarrryy.
