Our article is four pages long.
I’m excited because it’s probably the closest I’ll ever get to My Morning Jacket, Jack White, or Al Green.

The article also features the toughest face I’ve ever made, in print or in person. Try not to be intimidated.
You can find Paste Magazine at your local music store. Or your local bookstore. Or, if you must, at any Barnes and Noble in North America.
You can even read our article online. Right now it’s only available in the Paste Digital Edition (just type “56″ near at top where it says “Cover”). Once Paste puts up our story so that it’s easily linkable, I’ll update this post with that very link.
Here’s the article. And here it is again if you prefer the digital edition of the magazine. Thanks, commenter jmc.
So let us know what you think about the article. Feel free to comment on this post or even send a letter to the editor at Paste if you’re feeling big time.

Looks like a pretty good story to me! I would have liked to see them touch on the community involvement aspects of the museum a bit more.
Also, they didn’t talk much about the music in Song of the South at all… seemed like a loose way to tie in an unrelated story into a music magazine (although truth be told I am not familiar with the general format of the magazine, so I could be wrong).
Were they trying to make the picture of Lain look like the mirror image or JCH’s, or what?
My general feeling, though, is that (most) any press is good press.
Mama Shakes, I had no idea your first name was Annette!
Good article. And now I get where you get your hair from Lain.

Joe, the tag line for Paste is “Signs of Life in Music, Film, and Culture.” So we fit in the culture part.
It’s kind of like a better version of Rolling Stone in that Paste is a hip and culturally relevant music magazine, whereas Rolling Stone is a …magazine.
Good article, and that may be the straightest face you’ve ever made in a photo, Lain. It does look a little like JCH’s, except that he looks a little stunned, and you look like you are about to fight the camera man.
Lain, I’ve never seen you look so dark and brooding. Well, at least not since you modeled with that skateboard for Land’s End.
Camera woman, David. Camera woman.
Also, thanks for the link, jmc!
I bet you could have taken her, Lain.
If I didn’t know any better, I would say from the looks of that picture you are a distinguished gentlemen.
fantastic article! I read it while sitting on the beach - a definite highlight of my vacay….
This… is… AWESOME! Especially because I know how much you like the word dummy, Lain. So proud.
