Lain, you would not believe what a long life your April Fools’ Day joke is living. Yes, to this day, I come in contact with folks who ask, “Did you hear that Lain Shakespeare is leaving The Wren’s Nest?!” I just smile and give them the great news. Thank HEAVENS it was, is and . . . my prayer . . . ever shall be a big ‘ole prank! Here’s to many, many, many more years . . . heck, decades! . . . of Lain Shakespeare at the helm of The Wren’s Nest!

Whenever that raise happens you and Team Pecanne Log and whoever else to can come to the Wren’s Nest to eat pizza out in the yard with our critter friends. Or we can always go to Chuck E. Cheese to hang with the (animatronic) critters there.

And I said I wasn’t “Had” on April Fool’s Day!
I have just found the blog and found out that I can really identify with the problems you have had to face at your museum and said “I need to watch these guys and see if I can apply some of their idea’s at my museum!” then, “Hey guys, I’m out of here!” and I thought…”Oh Man!”. Yeah, you got me.

Oh, I misunderstood the purpose of April Fool’s Day – I thought it was for playing pranks, not TOOTING ONE’S OWN HORN and FISHING FOR HEARTFELT PRAISE.

And just think about all the people that got really excited there would be a job opening, any job opening, for which they might be able to apply.
