
The Art Block will engage middle
school aged young
people in a
multi-disciplined,
two week arts
program. This
unique summer
camp encompasses
literary arts, visual arts, theatre and dance giving
participants an opportunity to explore a variety
of creative avenues. Each of the disciplines is
taught by personnel from one of three well
known and established organizations within
historic West End:
Hammonds House Museum,
Fly-By Theatre/West End Performing Arts Center,
and the Wren’s Nest.
Professional artists will expose campers to a
variety of techniques and teach the creative
process through various art forms. Participants
will write, design and build their own sets then
perform in culminating productions.
Camp Fees and Dates
Fees include all art materials and supplies, healthy snacks.
• Class Fees: $225 for entire two weeks.
• Pre-care & After-care: $100 for entire two weeks.
• Members of the participating organizations and families
enrolling two or more siblings receive a10% discount on total fee.
• Campers should provide their own sack lunches.
June 2 - 13, Monday through Friday
• Pre-care: 8-9am
• Camp: 9-3pm
• After-care: 3-6pm
